According to Multiplying Good, “CAMP Osprey, having impacted both UNF and Jacksonville as a whole, serves as a beacon of light in the realm of servant leadership.”

C.A.M.P. Osprey is a mutually beneficial partnership under the leadership of Dr. Matthew Ohlson, Taylor Leadership Institute director and leadership associate professor, where UNF students serve as mentors to children in the local community. The overall goal of the program is to positively mentor and empower K-12 students while simultaneously allowing UNF students to foster and develop their leadership and interpersonal skills.

Ohlson has exemplified true leadership in his acts of service for the program, encouraging others to build up and empower students of all ages and backgrounds.
