UNF prepares for its largest single-day fundraiser, Giving Day 2024, on April 2
The University of North Florida is holding its sixth annual Giving Day on April 2.
The annual fundraising effort raises money and awareness for the transformational programs available to students at UNF. From scholarships and campus programs to clubs and athletics, all Ospreys have their own unique and powerful experiences that shape their time at the Nest and their future when they graduate.
UNF is asking for help to #SwoopAndSupport these initiatives that serve the UNF community and provide lasting, impactful positive change at the University.
Gifts to UNF can be given through the UNF Giving Day webpage starting at noon on Tuesday, April 2, and ending at noon on Wednesday, April 3. Gifts of all sizes, even $5, go a long way in making an impact on UNF students.
Prospective donors can choose to support over 100 different UNF initiatives, including Athletics, MOCA Jacksonville and many other UNF colleges, departments, centers and programs. Donors can also give to the UNF Student Success Fund, an initiative important to President Moez Limayem that helps provide students with resources that help their well-being and overall college experience.
On Giving Day in 2023, the University raised $1,002,276 from more than 3,400 donors, setting a new UNF Giving Day record. This year, the University has set its donor goal at 4,200 people.
Updates on the progress on Giving Day 2024 will be shared on social media with these hashtags: #UNFGivingDay and #SwoopAndSupport.
