Pursuant to Board of Governors Regulation 7.001(4), the University of North Florida is providing notice of a proposed changes to current University tuition and fee regulations. The proposed changes will be presented to the UNF Board of Trustees at its full board meeting on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the John A. Delaney Student Union Ballroom, 1 UNF Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224.
UNF will be seeking approval of the following, effective for Fall 2024:
- Update to fees associated with the online doctoral program for Clinical Nutrition students, to include removal of the following student fees: activity and service, health, athletic, transportation access and the addition of a distance learning fee.
- Approval of the repeat course surcharge, as provided by the Board of Governors.
- Update to the transcript request fee.
The proposed tuition and fee updates will reduce the cost of the Doctoral of Clinical Nutrition program. The fees being eliminated are not in support of the program.
The proposed transcript fee will be increased $2.00, to cover the rising costs to the University.
The repeat course surcharge is a mandated fee that is provided to the University based on the increase of expenses over the prior year.
Florida Statutes Ch.1009.24 provides the UNF Board of Trustees the authority to approve University such fees. For questions regarding the notice of proposed changes, please email Stephanie Howell, paralegal, Office of the General Counsel, at showell@unf.edu.
