Stack’m Storage in Jacksonville

Patrick’s customers enjoyed the convenience and safety of the services provided by STACK’M™ Storage, which led to rapid growth through 2022.  By the end of 2022, STACK’M™ Storage had achieved over 90% usage of its rented warehouse facility, but they had to stop recruiting new clients because they ran out of space.

 That’s when Patrick reached out for assistance to the SBDC at UNF. He met with Tom Goldner, business consultant with the SBDC, who was instrumental in developing the original business plan for STACK’M™ Storage.  Having never purchased a commercial property for business growth, Pat leaned on the SBDC to learn what steps he needed to take.

 Pat began the planning process to find more space in the Jacksonville area where he could double his clientele. Pat worked with the SBDC to refine his business plan and create a proposal and pitch deck for seeking investment partners to support the business expansion. Pat started PDMcgrath Properties LLC to facilitate the expansion and secure a contract on a new larger building option. Pat is currently working on obtaining investment partners and initiating the SBA application process with the goal of moving into his new facility by early 2024.  The SBDC continues to assist in the development and execution of the growth plan.
