Welcome to the UNF family! Now that you've taken the exciting step of submitting your deposit, it's time to get ready for your journey ahead. Here’s your ultimate guide to officially accepting your offer and making the most of all the amazing resources UNF has to offer.

Review and complete the following steps:

1 Confirm you have submitted your admissions deposit
If you haven't done so yet, make sure you submit your deposit to confirm your place at UNF!
For first-time-in-college (FTIC) students: Save your spot by submitting your admissions deposit; or deposit waiver if applicable, in your applicant portal. This deposit will be credited toward your first term's bill upon registration for courses.* Note: The admissions deposit is non-refundable if you choose not to attend UNF.
How to submit your admissions deposit:
- Log into your applicant portal
- Select the "Home" tab
- Under the "Payment Due" section, click on the "Submit Payment" link
*If you change your application term, the deposit will not be credited toward the new term's bill. However, you will not need to submit another deposit.

2 - Log into your myWings student portal
As an admitted student, you now have access to our myWings student portal. myWings is the main hub for our Ospreys. Check out the step-by-step guide to logging in to myWings for the first time. -
3 - Register for New Student Orientation
Confirm your spot at UNF by signing up for New Student Orientation! Incoming students are required to attend, and this will include scheduling your first-term classes. New Student Orientation registration is now open for Fall and Summer 2025 in your applicant portal!

4 - Check Your UNF Email
You'll be receiving regular emails to your official UNF email account, which you can access through myWings. Make sure to check your UNF email regularly and take any required action as quickly as possible.

5 - Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships
If you want to be considered for financial aid, you must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year. The priority deadline to submit a FAFSA, as well as scholarship applications, is January 15.

#7 - Submit Housing and Meal Membership Contracts
Although living on campus is not required, on-campus housing fills up fast. Room selection and assignment happen on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is important to submit your contracts as early as possible. The Summer 2025 housing contract opens on December 2 and the Fall 2025 housing contract opens on November 14.
