Prerequisites

The requirements listed below are prerequisites for the Master of Science in Health (MSH)- Health Science major in Kinesiology and Lifestyle Medicine (KALM). The course numbers listed below are the ones offered at the University of North Florida. Any substitutions to these requirements are made at the time of evaluation for admission into the MSH Program.

Internships (6 credits)

Students who choose the thesis option will complete a six-credit research thesis. Non-thesis students may complete either a three or six-credit internship or project. A six-credit internship project would fulfill the 39-credit degree requirement; the three-credit option would require students to take a three-credit elective to fulfill the 39-credit requirement.

THESIS Thesis option:
APK6972 (6 credits) - Thesis in Kinesiology and Lifestyle Medicine are required.

INTERN/PRO Internship/Project option:
Three or six credits in APK6942 Internship or Project in Kinesiology and Lifestyle Medicine are required.

If choosing a three-credit option, take a three-credit elective from the options below:
