Express Application for Graduate Admission

Overview

The Express Application was created for high-achieving UNF students to easily move into select graduate programs. We have options to help all interested students find their path to a graduate program. Benefits of the Express Application include a shorter application, no application fee, reduced requirements, and most programs don't have additional material requirements. Students admitted to one of the masters programs are also eligible for the exclusive graduate tuition rate


Eligibility

Please note, only ONE (1) Express Application may be submitted. After submission, if you wish to change your admission term and/or major, you will be required to apply through the traditional application and submit any program requirements.

UNF Undergraduate Students:
This program allows UNF undergraduate students graduating with a baccalaureate degree to easily apply to approved graduate programs. In order to be eligible students must:

  1. be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.25 institutional undergraduate GPA;
  2. have a graduation application on file to graduate from UNF with a baccalaureate degree; and
  3. submit the application to start graduate courses during one of the three consecutive terms immediately after your graduation term or anticipated graduation term. For example, if you graduate with a UNF bachelors in spring 2024 then you will be eligible to submit an Express Application for summer 2024, fall 2024, or spring 2025.
UNF Graduate Students:
For select graduate programs, students graduating with a graduate degree from UNF may be eligible. In order to be eligible students must:
  1. be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.25 institutional graduate GPA;
  2. have a graduation application on file to graduate from UNF with a graduate degree; and
  3. submit the application to start the second graduate program courses during one of the three consecutive terms immediately after your graduation term or anticipated graduation term. For example, if you graduate with a UNF master's in spring 2024 then you will be eligible to submit an Express Application for summer 2024, fall 2024, or spring 2025.

Process

Please login to the Express Application to check eligibility and apply. The application must be completed by the posted program deadline. Confirmation of receipt of your Express Application will be displayed immediately upon submission. All correspondence will be sent to your self-reported and UNF email. 

Upon receiving your application, it will be forwarded to the Graduate Program Director for review. Once an admission decision is rendered, you will receive an email and your Application Status Portal will update.

Applying for the program and term selected on the Express Application does not guarantee admission.
