UNF Graduation Survey
The UNF Graduation Survey asks exiting students to share information about their experiences at UNF, their first destinations after graduating including career outcomes and continuing education plans, and experiential learning activities they completed while at UNF.
The survey is administered to graduating undergraduate and graduate students during their graduating semester at UNF. All graduating students are invited to take the survey via the Graduation Application in MyWings. After the Graduation Application closes each term, non-respondents who have applied to graduate, but who have not yet completed the survey receive email invitations with a survey link up until five weeks post-graduation.
The UNF Graduation Survey replaced the longstanding Graduating Senior Survey and Graduate Student Survey in the 2023-24 academic year. Use the links below to access instruments and reports on each of these surveys:

UNF First Year Experience Survey
The UNF First Year Experience Survey is administered every Summer and Fall to incoming first-year students during their freshman year on campus. The survey gathers information on students’ perceptions of a welcoming campus environment, sense of belonging and affinity with UNF, as well as their perceptions of clarity on their academic major. The survey also measures students’ satisfaction with first year activities such as Osprey First Year Connections Osprey First Year Connection and the Osprey First Summer Pathway Osprey First Summer Pathway program. Instructors teaching in these programs are often surveyed, as well.
Students take the pre-survey within the first three weeks of their first semester; they take the post-survey within the last three weeks of their first semester; and they take the final-post survey within the last three weeks of the Spring semester, approximating the end of their freshman year on campus. Instructors are asked to encourage students to take the surveys during class.

Faculty and Staff Surveys

Faculty-Administrator Evaluation Surveys
A variety of surveys are administered each Spring with the purpose of informing faculty feedback for the evaluation of various faculty-administrators, including Academic Department Chairs and Directors, Academic Deans, and the Provost. Surveys of Academic Department Chairs and Directors are administered in conjunction with policy 2.0490P Annual Review of Academic Chairs/Directors and Associate Deans. Surveys of Academic Deans are administered in conjunction with 2.0320P Review of Academic Deans.
All surveys are administered each Spring to regular, full-time faculty members residing in the departments and colleges of the affected Chairs/Directors and Deans. The schedule of Chairs/Directors included in the survey each year is determined by their college Dean, and whether the Chair/Director is in their penultimate (next to last) year of their academic appointment. All Deans are included in the survey each year, though interim Deans are included on a case-by-case basis depending on their length of time in the interim role prior to the survey period. The surveys gather information on faculty members’ feedback on the performance of their respective Chair/Director and/or Dean.
Surveys for faculty feedback on the performance of the Provost are administered to regular, full-time faculty members on an annual basis each Spring.
The feedback from all surveys is confidential, and aggregated feedback are provided to each Chair/Director, Dean, and Provost for the purposes of inclusion in their annual performance review processes.
