Democracy education is a very important pat of higher education, and that includes an education at UNF.

Our institution and our campus leadership demonstrate commitment to improving civic learning and democratic engagement. We see this same commitment reflected in our institution's values.

UNF has demonstrated its commitment to excellence in democracy education with its annual Democracy Education Action Plan, developed by a coalition of students, faculty, staff and community members. UNF has earned the highest distinction, Highly Established Action Plan, for 2023 and 2024.
