UNF Student Symposia

Students awarded a U-RSCA training grant and/or a Conference Presentation Travel Award must register to present their work at U-GLIDE, SOARS, or ARISE before they graduate. Students of all disciplines and academic programs (undergraduate and graduate) are encouraged to present their projects, regardless of the stage of development.

U-GLIDE (Undergraduate-Graduate Learning, Inquiry, and Distinctive Experimentation) Symposium

UNF's annual campus-wide fall student research symposium will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the John A. Delaney Student Union.

U-GLIDE event programs are digitally archived in Digital Commons.

SOARS (Showcase of Osprey Achievements in Research and Scholarship)

The Showcase of Osprey Advancements in Research and Scholarship (SOARS) is an annual interdisciplinary conference at the University of North Florida (UNF) in which undergraduate and graduate students showcase their research or creative projects during Research Week. Research projects can be presented in poster format or as an oral presentation, but we also work with students who present in multimedia formats. SOARS is a welcoming environment where students can refine their presentation skills through interaction with peers and faculty as they explain their projects, which can be in various stages of development.

SOARS 2024 will take place in-person on Friday, April 11 at the John A. Delaney Student Union. Watch this space for more details.
