UNF Tennis Complex Gets Upgrades

North Florida Athletics announces unveiling of upgrades made to the UNF Tennis Complex, along with pickleball courts being added in conjunction with UNF Student Government.

In April OIC hosted their Talon Painting Party where 52 RSOs participated in painting a new osprey talon or re-painting their current talon.  


Lend-a-Wing's 12th Birthday

Lend-A-WIng, celebrated their 12th birthday in April. In collaboration with Market Days, Lend-A-Wing had a kettle corn station, Italian ice, and many more goodies for the students in the Student Union Plaza. 


Spring Presidential and Senator Elections

This Spring Student Government had their Presidential/Vice President and Senator Elections. Voting was held online and in Osprey Plaza where students got Office of Elections merchandise when they voted. 


SG Celebrates Safety Week

Student Government Safety week recap

In March Student Government hosted Safety Week in collaboration with UNF Police Department, Recreation and Wellness, and Market Days. During that week multiple events were held educating students on different safety topics. 


Osprey Involvement Fair

Osprey Involvement Center (OIC) hosted their spring Involvement Fair in collaboration with UNF Market Days on January 31, 2024. 33 RSOs participated in this event encouraging students to become engaged with clubs on campus.  


6 New Study Rooms Added at Thomas G. Carpenter Library

Student Government in collaboration with the Thomas G. Carpenter Library helped build 6 new study rooms for student and faculty to use 


Student Government Re-establishes Homecoming Court

The Grosso-Sullivan Administration brought back a UNF tradition res-establishing the Homecoming Court with EO-23F-002. The Homecoming Court was announced at a UNF men's basketball game on Saturday, February 10, 2024. 


Rally N' Tally 

 Members of UNF Student Government headed to the state capital Tallahassee in January for Rally in Tally. While there they advocated for three bills currently in session that dealt with student homelessness, health professional shortage, and Bright Futures 

Mental Health Awareness Week

 Student Government hosted Mental Health Awareness week holding multiple events capped off by Mental Health speaker Joshua Rivedal.

Tailgating is Back!

Student Government in partnership with UNF Athletics will be hosting a tailgating party for students on Monday, November 6th, from 3:00-7:00PM, for the first home game of the season for the men's basketball team.

Grand Re-Opening of the Boathouse Bar & Grill

Boathouse Grand Re-Opening Ribbon Cutting

Student Government in partnership with UNF Dining Services proudly re-opened an iconic location on campus, The Boathouse Bar & Grill. On October 18th, The Boathouse had its grand re-opening ceremony, proudly serving students great food and good times. The Boathouse Bar & Grill is located on the second floor of the John A. Delaney Student Union West Building.  

New Executive Agency: Osprey Student Conduct Advisors

 As an Executive Agency of the University of North Florida Student Government, the Osprey Student Conduct Advisors (OSCA) shall enhance the overall student conduct process to provide students with the information they are afforded as members of the UNF community. OSCA as an agency promotes knowledge, provides awareness of ethical conduct standards and the student conduct process, overall improving the student conduct relationship and facilitating an environment that develops trust between the advisors and students.
