About the Office of Experiential Learning

Vision

All UNF students participate in a recognized Experiential Learning activity before graduating.

Mission

The Office of Experiential Learning (OEL) is the institutional enterprise for Experiential Learning (ExpLearn). OEL tracks and encourages student participation in ExpLearn. OEL also manages processes for recognizing ExpLearn activities and administers the Experiential Learning Transcript (ELT). OEL identifies gaps in ExpLearn offerings and supports the development of new opportunities. OEL provides training and professional development to enhance ExpLearn at UNF.

  1. Chair the Experiential Learning Steering Committee
  2. Manage OspreyImpact system and Experiential Learning Transcript
  3. Guide process for recognizing ExpLearn activities
  4. Be an institutional hub for ExpLearn
  5. Reporting on ExpLearn activities
  6. Build capacity to increase and enhance the delivery of ExpLearn activities
  7. Consult on the development and scaling of ExpLearn activities
